Cala Isaia è una piccola insenatura del lago di Campotosto, il quale si trova all’interno del Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e del Monti della Langa, in Abruzzo.  Il Lago di Campotosto è un lago artificiale balneabile, e la spiaggia gay friendly di Cala Isaia è situata proprio davanti all’omonima città.

Solitamente, la spiaggia è frequentata solamente dai residenti di L’Aquila, Rieti, Teramo e Umbria Sud, ovvero coloro che hanno più difficoltà a raggiungere la costa. Oltre a loro, però, questa spiaggia è apprezzata dalla comunità Lgbt, in quanto ci si può rilassare e divertirsi, essendo anche molto tranquilla e lontana dal caos delle altre spiagge vicine. Anche per questo è un ottimo posto per praticare cruising, se lo si desidera.
